Bio / InfoChristopher Dawson was born in 1972 in New York City, where he currently lives. His work is represented in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and la Maison Européenne de la Photographie, among others. His series Coverage was awarded a 2012 New York Photo Award, and was selected for the 2011 Critical Mass Top 50. His pictures were recently included in Close to Home at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Crime Unseen at the Museum of Contemporary Photography. Selections from Coverage will be published in the series reissue of powerHouse Magazine (NYPH Journal) in 2013. He is available for commission or assignment.
